Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious assault in Newcastle city centre left a man in a life-threatening condition. Officers say the incident happened around 5.10pm yesterday on Claremont Road, where a man in his 50s was riding a bicycle when he was approached by two people on a moped. GATESHEAD OLD TOWN HALL REGENERATION PLANS REVEALED
Developers have revealed the first images of plans to transform Gateshead Old Town Hall and surrounding land into a new neighbourhood with around 250 homes. GATESHEAD’S FORMER MANAGER SIGNS WITH NEW CLUB
