NEW SHOW ALERT: THE CANNY COUNTDOWN ARRIVES ON CANNY RADIO THIS SUNDAY!

Get ready for a brand-new trip down memory lane as The Canny Countdown makes its debut on Canny Radio this Sunday at 6pm.

Presented by Ken White, the new weekly show will rewind the clock and count down the Top 20 biggest hits from this month in years gone by, celebrating the songs that once ruled the charts.

The series will focus on the golden decades of popular music, revisiting chart favourites from the 1960s, 70s, 80s and 90s. Whether you grew up with Motown, disco, new wave, classic rock, synth-pop or Britpop, there’s something for every lover of classic chart music.

The very first edition begins with a look back at August 1988, counting down the twenty biggest hits from that month. Expect plenty of familiar favourites, forgotten gems and memories from one of the most exciting eras in pop music.

So, if you’ve ever wondered what was Number One this month in 1974, which songs were climbing the charts in 1983, or what filled the Top 20 during the summer of 1996, The Canny Countdown is the show for you.
