HEARD OUR POLICE APPEAL AFTER A CITY CENTRE ASSAULT? THE PICTURES ARE HERE

Northumbria Police are appealing for help to identify four men after a serious assault in Newcastle city centre.

It happened on Cloth Market at around midnight on Sunday the 12th of April, when a teenager was reportedly punched, kicked and headbutted by four men he didn't know.

The victim suffered serious facial injuries and needed surgery in hospital.

Officers have been carrying out enquiries since the attack and, following a review of CCTV footage, are now asking for help to identify four men they believe could assist with their investigation.
