14-YEAR-OLD LEXI FROM GATESHEAD MISSING

Police are appealing for information to help find fourteen-year-old Lexi, who is missing from Gateshead.

Lexi was reported missing from the Leam Lane Estate area on Monday, although she has made contact with family by phone on several occasions.

Police believe she travelled to the Durham area before returning to the Elswick area of Newcastle at around eight o’clock on Friday night.

She has still not returned home, and officers and her family are increasingly concerned for her welfare.

Lexi is described as white, around five-foot-six, slim, with long dark brown hair.

She has links across Gateshead and is also known to visit Newcastle city centre and Wallsend.
